Was reading friends livejournal cos i realise i have not been  catching up on it for a long time. internet routine is usually blogs (personal blog, friends blogs in blogpress/blogspot), multiply (which house my wedding blogs and i love seeing others wedding pics), facebooking and finally livejournal. the 4 essential tabs. but as life gets busier, livejournal seems to slip away and i lost count of when was i last time i catch up for it. am more of a reader rather than a commentor. while i dun comment, it doesn't mean i dun care. its time for a catch up session with dmc/rmit folks before i'm forgotten =p

ok, i side track. anyway, sharon is very much on twitter and i realise that so it brudder and yannie. tried reading their twitters and i seriously have no idea cos to read/decipher it. as in..how much can the limited characters tell u whats going on in ur life? maybe i jux dun understand the beauty of 'less is more'. *shrug*

some quick updates. 

went back to office to finish up some stuff and was informed that aircon is not working. lucky its not a freaking hot day. halfway thru, the filming crew came in and i see strangers roaming ard in office. no time to hide my ugly desk, i hope its not caught in the watever film they are doing.

went home at abt 4 and its pizza time. $25.90 for 2 people and its considered breakfast, lunch and dinner. ie: abt $4 per person per meal. not to mention that we still have 6 slices left (cos we ordered 2 medium size), it can be used for tml's dinner. wahaha. but den again...i kinda miss home cooked food =(

tried watching 'watchmen' but after 10mins of the show, i still have on freaking idea of what the show is abt. in the end, gave up and we ate our pizza individually. hubby played his game and i continue my search of videos to watch on youtube.

wanted to get a short nap at 6pm cos i can foresee it will be sleepless nite for the coming week. need to 'standby' as much sleeping hours as possible. in the end, i woke up close to 10pm. i dunno how i can sleep tonight. but den again, i'm a sleeping machine. i can sleep anywhere, anytime.

ok..thats abt it. boring hor? i wonder when is the next well rested weekend. (definition of well rest weekend: no work bothers, at least 10hrs of sleep, well spent time with hubby, family and friends)

PS: Yun, i decided to get u bird nest from trustworthy shops. am skeptical of my MIL malaysia birdy nest. =p

In the end, left the office at 3am and reached back 6 hrs later. While I felt like a zombie the rest of the day, it felt good that bulk of wats to be done was completed. No congrats and celebrations yet cos tis is just the beginning. Am expecting workload to get even heavier and things will only be tense as time goes. Hubby been dropping not so discreet hints that I've been spending too much time at work. Felt bad but I can't help it cos things are just not within my control. Sorry darling, this is jux the start. I promise to spend more time with you when things are better ya. Got to earn money for our honeymooN la =p 

its now 1.30am (yes, am not pm) and am still at 700 beach road. 1hr ago, i told mikey that i'll be home soon. half and hr later, client decided to pop by and review the presentation deck together. thanks leh

for now, am brain dead and eyes is popping out soon. am not going to work on anything except to read my magazines and miss my bed while waiting for his arrival.

times are bad and especially with the 'challenge' ongoing, this nightmare is not going to last at least till sept. i hope i will have some form of break thereafter, aka our honeymoon in spain (prays that H1N1 decide to disappear all of a sudden)

oh well..working hard has always been one of my code of working conduct. working smart? still 'working' on it

War is here and its time to brave through the it together. While i do have some confident in winning it, but the 'what if' always lingers somewhere. Oh what, whatever happen, happens.

Weather is crazily hot recently. Sunny island doesn't mean it has to be THAT sunny lor. especially when the new office doesn't really 'disseminate' aircon that evenly, n sitting beside the window doesn't help as well. i dun really give a damn abt the window view when i dun even have the time to take my eyes off the computer screen.

for some reason, been wanting a watch for some time and it kinda became a retail therapy when the hot weather and stress hits. ok i know...denial, excuses..watever. in the end, i bought a sovil titus roma watch within 15mins (even though been eyeing it for a week), a pair of wedges after parting ways with wriggly, a pair of heels and dress after haircut..n ya..i now am the nth girl with 'fann wong' inspired bangs. *shrug*

*can't really see the watch clock face cos was just posing for fun*

despite all these..am still lusting for honeymoon in spain. hopefully we can find a better package that fit within budget and shopping expenses.

Yes, my new niece had officially come to the world on May 28 afternoon. didn't manage to visit her till today due to the tons of work (that is another story) and also cos it was past the visiting hrs when i went yesterday.

nearly missed the visitng hrs today as well cos i went to buy ba zhang and mikey and i got abit lost when we were trying to find our way to thomson medical centre. security was very tight with filling up of forms, temperature check, signing in with exchange of pass and finally...losing my way in the midst of all the various direction signs. anyway, i finally saw the new family member 15mins before the visiting hr is over.

Just a sidetrack. work is seriously crazy since a couple of weeks back. its early morning and late nights. n when i have early morning, it means i got banish myself to sleep alone in another room cos my alarm snoozing apparently disturb the other half sleep. oh well...all for the sake for being a tai tai soon =p monday marks my 5th yr anniversary in my company. i never thought i will stay there for half a decade especially with the many ups and downs over the years. i have learn, grew, develop and definitely accomplish much during this period of time. all of these wouldn't be completed without my two mentors (Conz and KC) and the many colleagues and clients around. some trained me, some strengthen me n of cos..some irritated me (more of the clients, n they still are!) i hope i will have more (but not that much longer to my tai tai dream i hope) happening and accomplish years to come, which will enrich my life even more =) this is beginning to sound like a resignation speech. opps...

Chanced upon this drama when 2 of its main lead was hosting ³¬¼¶Ðǹâ´óµÀ. didn't expect to watch this drama n not to mention its freaking 54 eps (but its still beats 3 season of Heroes).

Its not a żÏñ¾ç with super handsome and pretty leads, but the characters are good enough to warm my heart. there were many scene which i felt some connection with and also dropped much tears. its a super good show for families, esp to watch with parents cos it has even more relation with them. even though the story is based on taiwan families, but the generation kinda behave the same way. i hope i can find the dvd/vcd and let my parents watch it.

 

Imagine this.. mother in law (MIL) and daughter in law (DIL) are watching tv together. just 2 of them watching this show about DIL bullying MIL In the show, DIL was shouting at MIL and demanding husband to make a choice between the 2 women. somewhat like when she wakes up the next day, MIL got to 'disappear' from the house. After the show ended, real life MIL shed a tear or two.

Yes..this was wat happen when i was inside yong peng to attend one of mike's cousin wedding. speaking of which, they dun have uncle and auntie singing ktv during the dinner lor...ok, back to the topic. i faced the above scenario and it was damn awkward...i dunno whether to switch channel or just go somewhere else. but i decided i shall be mature and stay throughout the show even though it was seriously weird to watch it with her...alot of times i was peeping at her to see whats her reaction. i guess MIL was doing the same as well =p

am not going to be in singapore again this weekend.. am going for a short bintan trip with mike and his aunties. somewhat like a family retreat. hmm...definitely not considered as a honeymoon...especially when mike will be going fishing..again. leaving me alone. oh well..i jux hope the weather is good enough to enjoy the beach.

oh..n ning sms me on thur nite to inform me of the latest Xiao Zhu scandal. i thought it was something major...but..well..i tink its moderate scale la. i have never consider him to be an innocent boy who have never engage in sexual activities.. furthermore, he is known to crack dirty jokes in his show.

of cos, man being a man...he has his needs and i dun tink cyber is anything extreme. the max is jux a pic of him topless, thats all. whats silly is him not knowing the pros and cons of internet, and especially when he says he dunnoe that msn history can be saved. seriously, he shld at least learn a lesson from edison case. personally, i dun believe wat he admits or claims is the entire truth cos right now...its crisis management and its reducing the impact to the minimum.

oh well...anyway, ning is still kinda traumatize by this case and disappointed in Xiao Zhu.  i dun understand whats so traumatizing, neither does her other half understand. =p anyway, this case will blow over soon and i will wait for the day he announce he is married and have 3 kids already. =p

Last month this time, the malaysia dinner with the neverending ktv singing at FuHwa is over. All immediate families and brothers & sisters were at Mike's dad (opps, i mean my FIL) hse for post wedding 'party'. my parents stayed outside the hse, admiring the rest of the guest still singing happily,

one was at level 1 entertaining the kids, most of them were upstairs multi-tasking.

some running away from brothers who were insistent to have a drinking session, some were taking pictures of err...'desire look'. so many things going on at the same time..oh, how can i forget that someone was also dead drunk as well.

Yup, its been a month since the malaysia wedding and pictures are still flying around on and off. went with mikey for a mini dinner @ fish & co. nothing special cos its jux another meal as husband and wife. got him a small small gift - a fishing hat, for his upcoming kelong trip, while he got me an iPhone. hehe. yes, the deal is too good to be true. hehe...thats the priviledge of being Mrs Low =p

Oh...twice in a afernoon. so exciting.

being the hardworking wife, i sent the clothes to wash and was proud of myself for keeping the many bedsheets that were handing around for the past few weeks. happily press and on and start button, put in detergent and close the lid. job done. =)

as mention in ep 1, we were having show chasing day this afternoon and were rather engross in what we were watching. till i discover abt the shoes. mikey was screaming and shaking his head when he remembered...the clothes. its still in the washing machine, not hang out yet. opps..4hrs of washing shld be more den enough.

n to make up for the ep 1 incident, i'm going to hang the clothes now.

moral of incident: its neber too late to repay your wrong =p

Last weekend, M&M got summon to malaysia for tombsweeping. As the peom recites, qingming festival is usually rainy and true as it is, it was thunderstorm while we were making our way down to his grandparent's grave. drenched from head to toe, inside out.

after a day of drying, it still feel kinda wet. n thus, mikey can only match his working clothes with the remaining 1 pair left for the past week

while the week is more den enough to try the shoes, me being the hardworking wife decide to dry it under the hot sun even after a week. in the morning, we were complaining how hot it was and a good weather to jux be in the pool while making our maggie mee goreng lunch. oh well..when we were enjoying our past episodes of Heroes Season 4, we heard thunder and lightning and boom, a nice weather to sleep in. after the show, we went on with our own show chasing (him with smallville & bleach, me with my Arashi concert. btw, their concert are super high!! anyway..)

me being the hardworking wife again decided to sweep the balcony of the water since it has no more roof. it was den that i realise....the shoes. yes, the shoes that were supposedly to be dry after a week but i decided to try it further under the hot sun this morning. it got super wet again. same as how it was last week. mikey couldn't help but to shake his head..what have i gotten myself into to marry her...

moral of the story: kiang zhu ho, mai kay kiang.
