Mikey and i scout ard for our wedding shoes last weekend and it was really a tough find. Thanks to sherman, mikey kinda shortlisted wat he wants. though the pointy cowboy shoes are in the fashion right now, but it jux look weird on him. as for me, it was more of shopping for his shoe den mine cos nothing seem to catch my eye. maybe i was not in a right 'hunting ground'. oh well, got to get it done soon cos wedding photoshoot will be in 2mths time.

While shopping for shoes, went to G2000 and sherman make mikey change into a full suit. come to tink abt it...i have never seen him in one =p

n here's a preview of how he will look in one. i kinda got excited after i saw this cos it will be our gown selection in 2weeks time!

SMA was last fri and the result is out. Yes, am still a finalist afterall. Am of cos feeling a tinge of disappointment cos each of the finalist has a 25% chance and that includes me. Conz and KC, sorry for not bringing glory but i tried my best already. Hope u guys will still be proud of me.

After SMA on fri, Sat was an informal grad photoshoot @ SP and Cityhall area. Brought back quite a bit of memories while we took pic at SB office, DMS, and stadium. Afterall, we were the 1st batch of DMC students =p

Took lotsa pics and it was a good 'training' for the upcoming wedding shoot. am sure that will be even more tiring. I raised the white flag after 8hrs of it. Here's some preview.

Today is the convocation for my Bachelor of Communication. The past 1.5yrs had been enriching and fun. There are tough moments, and there are sweet moments as well. But at least, its something that i've set out to achieve and got it. The only regret that i have is not being able to graduate with distinction. but oh well, nothing is perfect in life so i can only console myself that at least i didn't fare too badly as well =)

Upon the 'reminder' from Love & Co salesperson, mike and me went for the 'hunt' for wedding bands this evening. Can't say it was a rash decision cos we kinda know wat we are looking for already. Even got the model number on hand from the few jewellery shops we visited months back.

Took us 2hrs and 4 shops to finally make our decision. Our last stop was in Goldheart and we made our purchase. LeeHwa and SK didn't excite us too much, while Soo Kee wasn't within our hunting ground ie: City Link. Love & Co was not too bad, but jux a pity that mikey found his choice in Goldheart. Another option was Canary but doubt mikey will like it cos the design for men are too plain. I guess we are looking for something classic, but not too simple also la.

In the end, we chose design from 2 different collections. Didn't bother us that its not the same design cos its not really necessary. Futhermore, both design has a wave which already gave some form of similarity. Price was ok and within budget, though it could have been cheaper if we took the other collection with rose gold. but i guess wat matters most is not the price but the design cos its something we have to wear for the rest of our life. am happy with it =) n did i mention that mikey got me a levis 593. wahaha...caught him at a right mood and right day (pay day) to bring me shopping =p

Gown selection is confirmed on Sept 22 and its really exciting cos finally we r moving on again after months of nuaing. photoshoot will still be in oct/nov period.

still got a couple of things which i have been procrastinating

-> make up artist for Mar 14 cos i most prob be using the studio make up session for Mar 21

-> photography for Mar 14. i can look for my current photographer's friend..but ya..procrastination gets in the way

-> wedding band. mikey suggested to buy in dec. Charlynn jux brought me to The Canary @ Delfi Orchard and i'm super tempted to get something NOW. have always been wanting to get microsetting diamond (something like diamonds around the band) and the price there is quite reasonable. probably cos charlynn know the boss. am bringing mikey there to take a look during charlynn appointment for ring fitting.

other than the above, believe there are much more to be done. we shall take a step at a time. *grin*

2 good news

a) Managed to get 4 NDP actual day tickets, thanks to Mike's neighbour. Was watching Black Knights flying pass mike's hse when his neighbour ask whether we got tickets. Of cos we nod our heads like the smiling toy thingy. N sure enough, he pass us the tickets when he came home. *grin* so happy!! my 1st NDP though i once participated in 2002/2003. can't rem which year, but it was 'nanny' to the scout contingent. Very nice memories cos every weekend was fulfilling. Can't wait for NDP to come!! Mike brought me to see one of the rehearsal couple of weeks ago and i already can't contain my excitement! Esp when singing the national anthem...i realise that i kinda forgot how to sing it =p

b) am shortlisted as Young Media Person of the Year for Singapore Media Awards. Its something like best newcomer for Star Awards for the media industry. Not exactly newcomer since its my 4th yr already. But..like they always say...being able to be shortlisted is already winning the award. Anything more would be a bonus. =) Am already happy to be nominated, let alone be shortlisted. Of cos, this is not the end cos still got the interview session with the judging panel which i heard is quite scary. Wish me luck!!

Bad news

a) work is seriously piling up and i have no idea where to clear up from. i know procrastination is not an option now, but sometimes i jux feel like throwing the white towel =~( Hang in there!!!!!!

b) rejected something which everyone is blaming me for being foolish. but since i made the decision, i shall stick with it. whether it is for the better or worse...its something i have to bear

Guess wat, i rejected cao ge tickets cos i heard wrongly that its 'tao zhe' tickets when my manager offered me. so i happily gave it to my colleague. =( oh well..shall take it as sharing time since i've been to quite a few concert already.

showed hui the mega 'ipod' earphone speakers which was featured on 8 Days...n guess wat, he went online to buy it. hmm..us$60 for a speaker is not ex, but i have no idea on the sound quality that the cute thing will project. but i guess he bought it is more of the cuteness of it rather than the quality. was even joking that can use it as earphone also wat..jux tat u got to carry it. haha. for those who are interested, u can go to www.fredflare.com for more cutsey stuff

Jux read renez's blog and it kinda stirred the desire for another birkie again =p esp when mikey wants me to buy me something during GSS period. i know it has no link cos birkie will be bought in Germany and not in Singapore. but anyway, its something tat he wanna buy for me la. in return, he will be getting a post anniversary cum pre bday present from me. make me feel less guilty also

n here are 2 choices which i can't decide. shld i get a solid colour or one with design? esp when my current birkie is with design already..i dunnno whether i shld get a solid colour. but den hor...solid colour can be kinda boring. how!!!!!!! i can't decide!!
